Championship 2019

The Sedgefield Tennis Club Championship started on 13 April 2019 and finals were played on 18th May 2019.  The Championship is the highlight of the year and as always there was great tennis on display for members and visitors alike.

Our new Tournament Director, Eleanor Booth did a good job organizing this years Championship.

Men’s Singles:  Julian Pretorius

Women’s Singles:  Pam Booth

Mixed Doubles:  Marianne du Preez and Julian Pretorius

Men’s Doubles:  William Rhodes and Ian Ahrens

Women’s Doubles:  Pam Booth and Eleanor Booth

Most improved player:  Lanie Farrelly

It was also time to wish a farewell and a good luck with their future to long term members Beulla & Hennie Kirstein.  They were presented with a small momento to thank them for all their years of participation and hard work.
